The Doors Open

Marco Ferretti opens the first Marcos location on Bald Eagle Drive, Marco Island. With just 12 tables and a wood-fired oven, the dream of bringing authentic marco's pizza to the island becomes a reality. Opening night sells out completely.

After three years of rave reviews and word-of-mouth growth, Marcos wins "Best Pizza on Marco Island" from the island's community paper. The award cements the brand's identity and doubles foot traffic overnight.
