From a humble kitchen dream to Marco Island's most-loved marco pizza destination — here's how it all unfolded.

2009

The Doors Open

Marco Ferretti opens the first Marcos location on Bald Eagle Drive, Marco Island. With just 12 tables and a wood-fired oven, the dream of bringing authentic marco's pizza to the island becomes a reality. Opening night sells out completely.

marcos Earns Its Reputation

After three years of rave reviews and word-of-mouth growth, Marcos wins "Best Pizza on Marco Island" from the island's community paper. The award cements the brand's identity and doubles foot traffic overnight.

Delivery & Expansion

Marcos launches its first dedicated delivery service across Marco Island, bringing fresh marco pizza directly to residents' doors. Online ordering follows shortly after, tripling weekly order volume within six months.
